today is tuesday, november 20th.  two days until thanksgiving!  it has been nearly two weeks since my last journal entry.  i have decided to keep this one short.

not too much out of the ordinary in the last couple weeks.  have had some really great shows downtown and been writing an aweful lot.  i have got a couple new songs that i am really excited about, and it feels good to be writing so much lately.

the musicians that play here in town have what you might call a brotherhood.  on a truly sad note, we lost one of our brothers on monday, november 5th.  trevor noble was 24 years old.  he played fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and i don't even know what else.  it wasn't just his amazing talent that made him so beloved, it was the way that he carried himself.  though i did not play any shows with trevor myself, it was hard to see the sadness that his passing brought to so many of my close friends.

trevor was a musician, a hellicopter pilot, and a god loving family man.  he will be missed.

with thanksgiving coming up, let us all make a point to enjoy the time we have with our loved ones.  let them know how much they mean to you.

happy thanksgiving everybody.

What you said about "if it is important. Do it now." is so true. Some of us know that only to well.
