Luck…Faith…Work…Fate
You could say that Dustin Bogue is lucky. You could also say that as an eight year old child in Sac City Iowa he was lucky that he had a Grandfather who placed a guitar in his hands. Luck would bring a rare childhood illness that threatened his life. Luck would intervene to bring medical specialist to diagnose and treat the rare illness and spare the child’s life.
There is no luck in being discovered in Nashville. Faith is always required. Faith in your talent, your craft, your family and your art must never yield to the methodical grind of Nashville’s Broadway. The response of the crowd helps keep the fires of faith burning in Dustin’s soul.
Work has been plentiful for Dustin not only in Nashville but around the US. Dustin has performed at Gilley’s in Las Vegas at The Frontier Hotel & Casino, in Denver at the Grizzly Rose as well as the Stampede, fairs and festivals out West and he has shared the stage with the likes of Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, and Sara Evans to name a few. His work is full time in Nashville now honing his craft at legendary haunts like the Second Fiddle, the Stage, Legend’s Corner and other Music City landmarks. Work has also been in the studio for two independent cd’s.
There is no predetermined fate for anyone. This does not discount the belief that every life has a purpose. Dustin’s purpose is to write and sing music that touches people’s soul like his family and friends have touched his. People make their own luck through hard work and faith in what they are doing is right. You could say that Dustin Bogue is Lucky….
