Dustin Bogue was born in Sac City, Iowa on February 28th, 1977. His journey since then has had quite a few twists and turns. His songwriting, and his very own unique delivery has been the steady that carried him through it all. In 1995 Dustin was diagnosed with a heriditary ailment that very nearly cost him his life. He was admitted into Omaha's Children's Hospital a 17 year old boy, but walkedout a very determined young man. Bogue recalls, "I remember that day so well. It was the one where I realized how truly short and precious this life is. That's when making the decision to pursue my dreams became easy" His musical journey has led him through literally hundreds of honky-tonks, fairs and festivals over the last ten years. He has ran down opportunities from Denver, Colorado to Las Vegas, Nevada to L.A. He is currently stompin' the streets of Nashville, TN. where he plays several nights a week including every Friday at "The Second Fiddle" in the The Music City's historical honky-tonk district. Dustin's vocal stylings have been likened to those of Gary Allan, Dierks Bentley and Dwight Yokam. His writing anywhere from Steve Earle to Bob Dylan. db released his second independent album"proud" in June of 2006. It is an extremely well rounded collection of his songs. It hits serious notes on songs like "Hired Hand" "I Didn't Feel A Thing" and the title cut "Proud" With plenty of feel good notes in "Girls Gone Wild" "Don't Mess With Texas" and "She Don't Even Know My Name" "It's country with a kick!"
